A brass and wind ensemble of the Stratford Symphony Orchestra performs selections from Carl Maria von Weber’s 1821 opera Der Freishutz or ‘The Free Shooter’ and Wolfang Amadeus Mozart’s 1786 opera Le nozze di Figaro – The Marriage of Figaro.

SSO Episode 4: Handel, Holst & Faure

The Stratford Symphony Orchestra presents the works of George Handel, Gustav Holst and Gabriele Faure in a program that includes Handel’s Harp Concerto in Bb Op. 4. No 6, performed by harpist Rosemary Soenen, Faure’s elegant and graceful Pavane Op. 50 and Holst’s Brooke Green Suite.
